Moby Dick Specialties is a Fairhaven, Massachusetts wholesaler of nautical gifts and coastal décor for independent retailers, since 1959. We sell nautical bells, telescopes, compasses and magnifiers to gift shops, marina stores and museum shops. On our last update, 12 telescopes and more than 25 bells were in stock.

Yes. Moby Dick Specialties sells nautical bells, telescopes, compasses and magnifiers wholesale to retailers only. Items titled Ship’s Bell were not in stock on our last update; the bells listed above were. Apply once at /pages/register, then log in after approval to see prices.
Which of these are brass?
Item titles name brass when it applies, for example the Bell – Polished Brass, the Telescope – Ant. Brass, the Hughes Magnifying Glass – Solid Brass (Min. 2) and the Life Ring Compass – Brass and Copper. For other items, call or email us to confirm.
How strong are the telescopes?
Most item pages list the power, from 4x (for example the Telescope w/ Box, item Z-003) to 15x (the Telescope on Stand, item Z-116).
What is the minimum order?
$250 per order, after quantity discounts and before shipping, or $75 for showroom pickup. Mix bells and instruments with any other Moby Dick Specialties items.
Can I order from Upper Deck Ltd too?
Yes. Our sister company Upper Deck Ltd sells farm, cow, hand and counter bells from the same Fairhaven warehouse, and orders from both companies ship together.
