How Ordering Works
Ordering from Moby Dick, step by step
We built this store so ordering wholesale takes minutes, not phone tag. Here's exactly how it works. We kindly ask all our retailers and loyal customers to place orders on this website — it's much faster for everyone!
1. Apply once
Fill out the short application on our Register page — tell us about your shop and include your proof of business: a Resale Tax Certificate, EIN, Tax ID or other official paperwork. We're a small family business helping other small family businesses — we don't accept LOAs or brand-recognition letters.
2. We verify your business
A real person at our Fairhaven warehouse reviews every single application by hand. You'll get an email the moment your wholesale access is switched on. Until then, no prices and no ordering — that's how we keep the store wholesale-only.
3. Log in and see your prices
Once approved, log in with just your email — we'll send you a one-time code, no password to remember. Every product now shows your wholesale price.
4. Order whenever it suits you
Click Shop by Category to browse every category, or search by item number or name (try “buoy” or “MA-2104”) and add to cart. Prices are per piece — “Pkg.” items step by the pack, “Min.” items just have a minimum (order the minimum, then any number). The order minimum is ONLY $250, counted after any quantity discounts and before shipping — your cart shows how close you are as you shop. Picking up at the showroom? The minimum is $75.
5. We pack, weigh, and charge once
No card is taken on the website. Place the order and we pick, pack and weigh it, then charge the card we have on file for you one time: merchandise plus the actual freight — no handling fees, ever! New to us with no card on file? Your order still goes through; we'll call you for a card before we start. Accounts already on net-30 terms with us keep paying by check as always. Picking up at the showroom instead? Choose pickup at checkout — you pay when you're here.
6. Reordering is one click
Your order history lives in your account — and the “Buy it again” shelf on the homepage brings your recent items back in one click. Ordering from Upper Deck Ltd too? Tell us and we'll pack the two orders together to save you shipping.
