Moby Dick Specialties is a wholesale supplier of nautical gifts and coastal décor for independent retailers, with more than 2,000 items in the line. Mermaids, whales, anchors, sea turtles, lobsters, ship models, porthole mirrors and brass signs all ship from our warehouse and showroom at 10 Pequod Rd, Fairhaven, Massachusetts 02719.
What we carry
- Sea creatures — nearly 850 pieces, from salt and pepper sets to hooks
- Mermaids — bottle openers, key holders, bookends and figures
- Whales — whale tail hooks, door knockers and ornaments
- Anchors — anchor bells, bottle openers and key chains
- Signs & plaques — brass and tin bar, welcome and warning signs
- Bottle openers — mermaid, shark, anchor, pirate and lobster designs
- Designer resin — sea life in blue, green, red and antique white
- Porthole mirrors — brass and nickel over aluminum
- Ship models — sailboats, lobster boats, tugboats and the Cutty Sark 1869
- Glass floats
Prices are per piece, set or pair. “Pkg.” is how many come in a package (Pkg. 6 means six), and “Min.” is the lowest quantity you can buy (Min. 2 means two).
How wholesale ordering works
- Apply once. Send our wholesale application with proof of business — a Resale Tax Certificate, EIN, Tax ID or other official paperwork.
- A real person reviews it. Every application is checked by hand, Monday–Thursday, usually within 24–48 hours.
- Log in for prices. Wholesale prices and quantity discounts show after approval. Quick Order adds a whole list of item numbers to your cart at once.
- $250 minimum per order, counted after quantity discounts and before shipping.
- Actual freight only, billed when your order ships. UPS or FedEx handle most orders; larger orders go by truck freight. No handling fees. Your card on file is charged once, after the order is packed and weighed.
Sister company: Upper Deck Ltd
Upper Deck Ltd, our sister company in the same Fairhaven warehouse, sells vintage American home, garden and farmhouse décor. The $250 minimum is per company, but orders from both are packed together to save on shipping.
Showroom and gift shows
Our Fairhaven showroom is over 5,000 square feet. Visits are by appointment, which we strongly encourage, and walk-ins are welcome. Hours are Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–3 PM Eastern; closed Fridays. At gift shows we exhibit with Upper Deck Ltd in a shared booth, and we keep a permanent showroom at AmericasMart in Atlanta (Building 2, Suite 785). Wholesale FAQ
Do you charge sales tax? No. Wholesale orders to approved resellers ship tax-free.
Do you take backorders? No. Sold-out items stay listed so you can check back, and restocks appear on the site when they reach the warehouse.
What if something arrives damaged or wrong? File a claim within 10 days of delivery, with photos. Credit or a replacement goes on your next order.
I bought on your old website. Do I need to reapply? No. Log in with your existing email and a 6-digit code we email you — no password.
