Nautical gift wholesale to independent retailers since 1959
Moby Dick Specialties ships from one warehouse and showroom at 10 Pequod Rd in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.
You can order online at any hour: apply once, get approved by our team, then log in to see wholesale prices, pack sizes and quantity price breaks. Orders are packed in Fairhaven, and shipping is added when your order ships.
What we actually do
We carry nautical-themed products in iron, copper, glass, tin, resin and wood. We hunt for nautical giftware that sells: ship models, glass buoys, anchors, mermaids, whales, lighthouses, coastal décor, brass and cast iron — over 2,000 items, chosen for what sells in a coastal shop.
Independent shops are our whole business. Seaside boutiques, gift shops, museum stores, marina shops, garden centers with a coastal corner — if you run a shop with personality, our warehouse was stocked with you in mind.
How we're different, honestly
- A very affordable minimum. ONLY $250 per order — well below most vendors.
- A real person answers when you call. Call 508-994-5024, Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–3 PM Eastern. If we're on another line, leave a message and we'll call you back. Email works any time: orders@mobydickspecialties.com.
- Real shops only. Every application is verified by hand with proof of business — a Resale Tax Certificate, EIN, Tax ID or other official paperwork. We sell to retailers only, never to consumers.
- If it's on the site, we carry it. We update stock every day — if an item is not on our website, we no longer carry it.
The showroom
Our warehouse doubles as a 5,000-square-foot showroom — like walking a mini tradeshow, minutes from the New Bedford waterfront. Book a visit — appointments are strongly encouraged, walk-ins always welcomed!
One warehouse, two companies
If your shop carries home and garden décor too, meet Upper Deck Ltd — under the same roof: antique reproductions, garden and farmhouse décor. Same warehouse, same showroom. Many of our customers order from both and ship the orders together to save on freight.
