How do I fit a gift section into a small marina store?
Use vertical space. A slatwall or pegboard panel holds key chains and bracelets; one short shelf holds bottle openers, bells and whistles; one wall carries signs, cleat hooks and a porthole mirror or two. Keep the most giftable pieces at eye level by the register, where customers wait to pay for fuel, ice or supplies.
How should a marina store plan its season?
The boating season sets the rhythm. Plan orders around your marina’s operating season and use your own sales to choose reorders. Because many items come in small packs, a reorder can stay small, but each order must reach the $250 minimum. Our office is open Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–3 PM Eastern.
How do I open an account?
Three steps. First, apply once with your resale certificate, EIN or tax ID. Second, a person reviews and approves the account. Third, log in to see prices and order online. For shipped orders paid by card, the card on file is charged after packing and weighing. Showroom pickup orders are paid at pickup.

Can the cleats and shackles be used on a boat?
Sell them as nautical décor and gifts. For docking and rigging, boaters should use marine hardware rated for the job.
What is the minimum order?
$250 per order, after quantity discounts and before shipping; $75 for showroom pickup.
Can I order from Moby Dick Specialties and Upper Deck Ltd together?
Yes. The two companies share one Fairhaven warehouse. Each company’s order has its own $250 minimum, and orders from both ship together.
Do you sell to the public?
No. We sell to retailers only, including marinas, ship stores and yacht club shops with a resale certificate, EIN or tax ID.
Can I see the items before ordering?
Yes. Visit the Fairhaven showroom Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–3 PM Eastern. Appointments are strongly encouraged.
